Sildenafil in tablet form is known under the trademarked names of Viagra.  The Thrive Preferred Providers (or your own doctor may) prescribe the same sildenafil but have it compounded into sublingual troche form in 3 different strengths (88, 44, and 22.4mg) in accordance with FDA compliance.  The troche is taken by placing it under the tongue and keeping it there until fully dissolved and absorbed by the salivary glands. Unlike a tablet that travels via the stomach, the troche goes directly into the blood stream causing a more efficient and effective result (up to 20-30 minutes faster). The troches are colored and flavored based on strength for identification and two flavors will be available for each formulation. Dispensing quantities of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30. The compound is good for up to 6 months with proper storage (room temperature or refrigeration).
